The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marshall, MN, is dedicated to fostering advocates who champion a food system rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice. We empower our Fellows by providing them with a comprehensive, tuition-free education in organic food systems, ensuring that accessibility is at the heart of our mission. During their six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in diverse opportunities such as growing and distributing crops, implementing innovative educational sessions, and supporting community gardens. Our program also emphasizes the importance of food and ecological literacy, encouraging participants to enhance understanding within schools and communities. Following their fellowship, the Community Action Year allows them to apply their insights and skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations, ultimately contributing to vital food assistance initiatives.
