Located in the heart of Minneapolis, MN, the Simpson UMC Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to those in need, operating twice a week to ensure that community members have access to nourishing options. On Tuesdays, we proudly distribute fresh produce, while Wednesdays focus on a variety of grocery items to help meet basic nutritional needs. Our service area is defined by Franklin Avenue to the north, Lake Street to the south, Lyndale Avenue to the west, and Portland Avenue to the east. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented safety measures to protect our guests, allowing only one person in the building at a time. We invite anyone facing food insecurity to visit us and receive the support they need in these trying times.
