YouthLink's Drop-In Center in Minneapolis, MN, offers a welcoming and safe haven for youth aged 16 to 24 who are facing homelessness and housing insecurity. Our center is designed to provide a nurturing environment where young people can relax, restore their sense of self, and access essential services throughout the week. We address basic needs by providing hot lunches, personal care items, clothing, and emergency food from our food pantry. Additional services include shower and laundry facilities, transportation support with bus tokens and passes, GED assistance, and job search aid through our dedicated partners. We also facilitate access to vital documents like photo IDs, along with on-site resources such as computers, phones, and mail support. Our center collaborates with Hennepin County to offer eligibility screenings and connects youth with shelter and housing options. We are proud to host an onsite health clinic via Health Care for the Homeless, as well as mental health care services and a support group for those who have experienced victimization, violence, or exploitation. At YouthLink, we strive to empower young individuals and help them navigate their paths toward stability and success.
