About Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
Serving the Moorhead, MN community, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants, and children up to age five through essential nutrition education and support. Our compassionate and professional staff provides personalized nutrition information, specialized counseling for mothers, and guidance on available community services. Participants benefit from access to healthy foods including milk, cheese, cereal, juice, and iron-fortified infant formula. To join, families need to present proof of Minnesota residence, total family income, and, optionally, a child’s immunization record. At WIC, we are committed to fostering a healthier future for our youngest community members.
