The Drop-In Resource Center in Mound, MN, is a welcoming haven for youth, offering essential resources and outreach to those in need. Committed to supporting young individuals from Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina, our center ensures that no one is turned away, regardless of their location. We provide a wide range of free services, including a clothes closet, hygiene products, and food assistance through our weekly trips to VEAP. Additionally, youth can access laundry facilities, showers, job search and educational support, and transportation assistance. Our center features a computer lab with internet access and offers on-site mental health counseling through Headway, legal aid through the Youth Law Project, and health and wellness support from Bloomington Public Health. We also facilitate referrals to shelter and housing programs, including the Suburban Host Home Program, as well as provide rental assistance, case management, and connections to caring adults. Youth can visit us by appointment Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to receive the help they need to thrive.
