Located in Mound, MN, the Youth Drop-In Center provides a welcoming and supportive environment for youth aged 16-24 who are facing homelessness and housing instability. Our center is a safe haven where young people can come to relax and rejuvenate while accessing essential services. We offer a variety of resources including a hot lunch, personal care items, clothing, and emergency food through our food pantry. Our facilities feature showers and laundry services, while additional support includes bus tokens, GED assistance, and job search resources provided by onsite partners. We also help youth secure vital documents like photo IDs, and our center is equipped with computers, phones, and mail access. Young people can receive eligibility guidance through Hennepin County and find shelter or housing options with our assistance. Our onsite health clinic, in collaboration with Health Care for the Homeless, offers medical services, while mental health care and supportive group sessions for those affected by violence or exploitation are also available. We strive to empower youth with the tools they need to thrive and find stability.
