Located in Mound, MN, the Youth Drop-In Center by YouthLink offers a welcoming and secure environment for young individuals aged 16 to 24 who are facing homelessness and housing instability. Our center is dedicated to providing essential resources such as nutritious hot lunches, personal care items, clothing, and access to our food pantry. We also offer vital services like shower and laundry facilities, transportation assistance with bus tokens, GED support, and job search help through onsite partnerships. Youth can connect with support for obtaining important documents, as well as access technology for communication and job applications. Additionally, our center facilitates critical eligibility support through Hennepin County, helps youth find shelters or housing options, and provides onsite healthcare services, including a health clinic and mental health care. With a focus on healing and community, we host a support group for youth affected by violence and exploitation every Wednesday evening, ensuring they have a safe place to rest, restore, and regain independence.
