At Second Harvest Food Distribution in New Prague, MN, we are dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to quality nutrition, alleviating hunger in our community. Every second Thursday of the month, we welcome households to register for our emergency food distribution, which takes place from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Upon arrival, families will receive a designated time to receive their food inside the building, with the option to wait comfortably in their vehicles or outside until their appointment. We encourage families to bring their own boxes or laundry baskets to help transport food items, while our caring team at Friendship Church is on hand to assist with loading. Together, we are committed to making a meaningful impact by addressing urgent food needs and fostering a supportive environment for all.
