MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in New Ulm, MN, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides at-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app facilitates personal weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further assistance after engaging with the MOVE! program.
