About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Owatonna, MN, empowers aspiring leaders to reshape our food systems into models of social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to immerse themselves in hands-on, experiential learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Over a six-month period, participants engage in organic agriculture education, and practical initiatives, from growing diverse crops on community farms to integrating food literacy in local schools. By collaborating with regional non-profit organizations, Fellows gain invaluable experience while supporting community gardens and farmers markets, thereby increasing access to healthy foods for all. We are committed to accessibility and do not charge tuition for our fellowship, welcoming passionate individuals to apply by March each year for a program that runs from May to October.
