About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Park Rapids, MN, nurtures and empowers individuals to become passionate advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through a unique six-month experiential program, selected Fellows engage deeply in organic food system education at the Allegheny Farm Campus, learning to grow diversified crops, maintain community gardens, and support local farmers markets. This fellowship not only promotes food literacy and healthy eating but also partners with regional organizations to create innovative health care solutions and enhance access to nutritious foods. We believe in fostering future leaders in food justice, offering a no-tuition experience to ensure the accessibility of our transformative program. Applications open in March each year for the fellowship running from May to October, creating a vibrant community dedicated to sustainable food systems.
