About Adult Teen Challenge Rochester Womens Minnesota
Adult & Teen Challenge of Rochester provides faith-based recovery programs for women struggling with substance addiction, offering both short-term and long-term treatment options. Their approach is holistic, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through a Bible-based curriculum that requires a minimum one-year commitment. Women in the program receive spiritual counseling, individual therapy, life skills training, family education, and case management support. The 12-month long-term recovery program combines evidence-based practices with faith elements, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of mental health practitioners, counselors, chaplains, and coaches. Treatment components include life skills development, individual counseling, and 12-Step facilitation, all overseen by a diverse team of female staff. The organization is part of a larger network that began in the 1950s when David Wilkerson established the program in response to addiction issues following a New York City gang murder. Today, Adult & Teen Challenge has grown to include over 200 residential centers across the United States and more than 1,000 ministry locations worldwide.
