At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Saint Peter, MN, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of food advocates and educators through immersive training and experiential learning. Our Fellowship offers an accessible and tuition-free program focused on developing a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. During the six-month residency at AMI's Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows gain hands-on experience in organic food systems, engage with community partners to cultivate and distribute a variety of crops, and lead innovative educational initiatives such as community gardening and health literacy programs. Throughout their journey, Fellows also support local farmers' markets and enhance channels for access to healthy foods. After the residency, participants apply their skills in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to create lasting impact and mentor future Fellows. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October.
