Based in Saint Peter, MN, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) is dedicated to empowering low-income families and individuals, especially those utilizing or eligible for SNAP, by providing essential nutrition education. Our engaging and interactive classes teach participants how to stretch their food dollars by exploring healthy, cost-effective recipes, developing meal and snack spending plans, and learning effective food storage techniques to minimize waste. Additionally, we promote physical activity and offer classes both in-person and conveniently via Zoom, making it easier for our community to access valuable resources that enhance overall well-being.
