About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sartell, MN, trains and empowers individuals to become passionate advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through hands-on learning and community engagement, our program offers a unique opportunity to understand organic food systems while working on projects that promote health and sustainability. Selected Fellows participate in a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm, engaging in crop cultivation, educational outreach, and community gardening. After the residency, they embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to implement their skills and foster improved access to healthy food in the region. We believe in making this fellowship accessible to all by not charging tuition, ensuring a diverse group of leaders in food advocacy. We invite those interested to complete the application by March for an enriching experience from May to October each year.
