The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Sauk Centre, MN, is dedicated to supporting individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, and welcoming 12-month educational journey. Available in both English and Spanish, this program provides essential resources, including six informative e-booklets tailored to guide participants on their diabetes management, as well as a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollees who share their phone numbers have the unique opportunity to engage in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can directly connect with ADA professionals to inquire about diabetes-related concerns, learn about the critical link between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy helpful giveaways crafted to enhance their diabetes management.
