The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Waconia, MN, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to building a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program empowers Fellows through extensive training and hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA, where they engage in organic food system education, grow and distribute diverse crops, and cultivate community gardens. By fostering partnerships with local organizations, Fellows also implement innovative health care education, support farmers markets, and enhance food access initiatives. With no tuition fees, we strive to make this vital Fellowship accessible to all, providing participants with opportunities to apply their learning in real-world contexts and mentor future cohorts. Applications for this transformative experience are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May through October, allowing individuals to make meaningful impacts in their communities.
