At the Senior Food Shelf in Wayzata, MN, we warmly welcome older adults seeking food assistance tailored to their unique nutritional needs. Our mission is to ensure that seniors have access to essential food resources, allowing them to maintain their health and well-being. Each month, participants can visit us to select from a diverse range of nutritious options, including fresh produce, meat, bread, and shelf-stable items, with the ability to receive up to 20 pounds of food per visit. In addition to food assistance, we strive to provide pet food and hygiene items when available. We recognize the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and have adapted our services accordingly by requiring clients to schedule appointments in advance. For those unable to visit us in person, we are proud to offer free home delivery of pantry items to ensure that everyone has access to the support they need.
