About CSFP: Commodity Supplemental Food Program for Seniors
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program for Seniors (CSFP) in Winona, MN, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in need. As a vital program supported by the USDA and administered by the Minnesota Department of Health, CSFP, in partnership with Channel One, serves thirteen counties in southeast Minnesota. With over 50 distribution sites at food shelves, senior centers, and senior apartment complexes, our mission is to improve nutrition and promote healthy eating among older adults. Eligible participants receive a monthly food package that includes nutritious items such as American cheese, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, milk, canned meat, cereal, rice or pasta, and plant-based proteins like peanut butter or beans. We invite seniors to join our program to access these vital resources and support their health and well-being.
