The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Winona, MN is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to creating a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on, experiential training, we empower our Fellows to become advocates, educators, and innovators in the fields of organic food production, ecological literacy, and community health. Our immersive program spans six months at the beautiful Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, where selected individuals develop practical skills in diversified crop production, community gardening, and direct-to-consumer initiatives. We ensure accessibility to our Fellowship by offering tuition-free education and fostering collaborative partnerships with regional non-profits during a transformative Community Action Year. Applications are welcomed until March, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October, as we work together to enhance food equity and promote sustainable practices in the community.
