The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Worthington, MN, is dedicated to fostering the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, our Fellows immerse themselves in organic food system education and community engagement, working to promote social, environmental, and economic equity. This fellowship, which is free of tuition to ensure accessibility, empowers participants to cultivate and distribute diverse crops, create and maintain community gardens, conduct educational sessions for health initiatives, and support local farmers markets and food distribution. Throughout the six-month immersive program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to implement impactful projects, mentor future leaders, and enhance food literacy in schools. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
