The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Berthold, ND, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Our program sponsors, trains, and empowers Fellows to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. We believe in accessibility, offering a tuition-free Farm and Food Study to ensure that diverse voices can participate. Throughout the six-month residential experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in practical training, learning how to grow and distribute diversified crops, run educational health initiatives, maintain community gardens, and promote food literacy in schools. Our mission further extends through the Community Action Year, where Fellows collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to drive meaningful change.
