Our mission is to annually screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring that every individual is connected to the weight management services that best suit their unique needs. We offer a range of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! solutions that allow for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides invaluable resources. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may require more intensive support after engaging with MOVE!.
