The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Casselton, ND, is dedicated to nurturing passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This transformative program offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic food system education, empowering Fellows to foster social, environmental, and economic equity in food production. Through a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected individuals engage in meaningful projects such as growing diversified crops, leading health-focused educational sessions, and integrating food literacy into local schools. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility, encouraging diverse participants to collaborate with regional non-profits, establish community food initiatives, and mentor future cohorts. We invite future Fellows to apply by March each year, with the experience running from May to October, ensuring a robust community of individuals committed to enhancing food access and sustainability.
