The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Center, ND, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of food advocates and educators. By sponsoring, training, and empowering Fellows, we strive to create a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This no-cost program offers immersive education in organic food systems and hands-on experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus. Throughout the Fellowship, participants will work with local partners to cultivate diversified crops, implement educational initiatives in healthcare, maintain community gardens, and promote food literacy in schools. Additionally, they will play an active role in supporting farmers markets and enhancing access to healthy foods. Each selected Fellow engages in six months of experiential learning, followed by a meaningful Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year for an enriching experience that runs from May to October.
