The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Devils Lake, ND, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This unique fellowship provides comprehensive organic food system education and fosters community engagement through hands-on experience. Selected Fellows participate in a six-month immersive program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain vital skills to grow diverse crops, implement innovative health programs, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy in education. The Fellowship ensures accessibility by not charging tuition and encourages participants to collaborate with regional non-profit organizations during their Community Action Year, enhancing access to healthy foods and supporting local farmers' markets. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
