About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Fort Totten, ND, is dedicated to cultivating a sustainable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This fellowship empowers participants to become educators and advocates in the realm of organic agriculture. By eliminating tuition fees, we ensure our program is accessible to all aspiring fellows. Over six months, selected fellows engage in hands-on training at our campus, gaining practical skills in diverse crop cultivation, community gardening, and food and ecological literacy initiatives. Following this immersive experience, fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to implement their knowledge and inspire positive change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
