Located in Garrison, ND, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship empowers individuals to become passionate advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this fellowship provides a transformative, tuition-free program focused on organic food system education. Fellows engage in hands-on learning by growing diverse crops, implementing innovative health care education, and supporting community gardens. Through this immersive experience, participants collaborate with local non-profits to enhance food access, promote food and ecological literacy in schools, and contribute to farmers markets. Over six months, they gain valuable skills that carry into a Community Action Year, driving impactful change and nurturing the next generation of food advocates.
