Located in Garrison, ND, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who visits VA facilities receives annual screenings for obesity, followed by tailored referrals to weight management resources. We provide a range of care options, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! system for in-home support. For Veterans who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while those needing additional assistance can explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. The program adapts to meet the diverse needs of our Veterans, and we encourage anyone interested in achieving their weight loss goals to connect with a MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance on starting their journey.
