The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Glen Ullin, ND, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of educators and advocates for a sustainable and equitable food system. This transformative program offers a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, where selected Fellows engage in hands-on training covering organic food system education, community gardens, and innovative health initiatives. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility for all aspiring leaders. Throughout their journey, Fellows will grow and distribute diverse crops, implement educational programs, support local farmers markets, and develop channels to enhance access to healthy food in their communities. The Fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits. Applications are accepted until March each year, for a program running from May to October.
