The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hatton, ND, strives to cultivate a just and sustainable food system by sponsoring and training dedicated individuals committed to advocacy and education. Offering a tuition-free program, we prioritize accessibility for aspiring Fellows who aim to become influential leaders in both organic agriculture and community health. Over a transformative six-month experiential residency at our campus, participants engage deeply with organic food system education and actively contribute to initiatives such as diversified crop production, community gardens, and innovative healthcare workshops. Following their residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement food literacy programs and enhance access to healthy foods through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer distribution. Together, we are nurturing the next generation of advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system.
