The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lamoure, ND, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in the food movement by providing comprehensive education in creating a fair and sustainable food system. This fellowship offers aspiring farmers and advocates a hands-on, six-month program focused on organic food systems, community engagement, and ecological literacy. Our Fellows learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement educational initiatives in health care, maintain gardens, support farmers markets, and develop meaningful distribution channels to enhance access to nutritious foods. Additionally, the Fellowship includes a Community Action Year, allowing Fellows to put their training into practice with local non-profit partners. Committed to inclusivity, we do not charge tuition, making our program accessible to all who wish to make a positive impact in food justice. Applications are welcome until March each year, with experiences running from May to October.
