Located in Lamoure, ND, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a range of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which enables in-home messaging and clinician interactions. For those who prefer a self-managed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available as a helpful tool. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing struggles with weight-related issues.
