About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Langdon, ND, we are dedicated to fostering leaders who advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Our fellowship empowers individuals through comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic farming principles and practices. By offering a tuition-free program, we ensure that our educational opportunities are accessible to all. Participants engage in diverse initiatives, from growing and distributing crops on market-style farms to enhancing community health through educational workshops. We also focus on food literacy, school gardening, and supporting local food economies by bolstering farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs. After an immersive six-month experience at our facilities, Fellows transition into a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to enact positive change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, allowing participants to make a tangible impact in their communities.
