In Lidgerwood, ND, the Living With Type 2 Diabetes Program is dedicated to empowering individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by providing essential education and resources over a comprehensive 12-month period, all at no cost. This dual-language program offers six informative e-booklets tailored to the needs of each participant, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information in both English and Spanish. Enrollees are also invited to engage in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, allowing them to connect directly with ADA experts to ask their diabetes-related questions, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and participate in interactive discussions, all while receiving helpful giveaways designed to support their journey toward better health management and well-being.
