The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in New Rockford, ND, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This unique program, sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, offers an inclusive opportunity for participants to engage in organic food system education without any tuition fees. During the six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will cultivate diversified crops on a market-style farm, implement educational health initiatives, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into local schools. Following their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to enhance food access and support farmers markets. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March to join our mission in nurturing sustainable food systems and enriching community engagement.
