The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rolette, ND, is dedicated to training and empowering the next generation of advocates for a just food system. Through hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm, the program fosters skills in organic food system education while prioritizing accessibility, with no tuition fees required. Selected Fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, managing community gardens, promoting food and ecological literacy in schools, and supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. Over a six-month residency, participants gain invaluable experience that they apply during their Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to enhance food access and promote sustainable practices.
