The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rolla, ND, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators committed to building a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive training at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning and community projects that promote organic food practices and innovative health initiatives. This program empowers participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain gardens, and enhance food literacy within schools. Additionally, Fellows support farmer markets and foster cooperative programs that improve access to healthy foods. With no tuition fees, we ensure that this transformative fellowship is accessible to all. Over a six-month immersive experience, followed by a Community Action Year with local non-profits, our Fellows actively contribute to sustainable food solutions in their communities, making a meaningful impact from May to October each year.
