MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Rugby, ND, is a dedicated health promotion initiative focused on enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management solutions. Our mission is to ensure all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities are screened for obesity and connected to tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and aspirations. We offer a variety of support options, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which facilitates in-home contact with clinicians. For those who wish to track their progress independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides resources for self-guided weight management. Additionally, we address weight-related challenges through access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need more intensive support.
