About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Tioga, ND, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating a just, equitable food system through hands-on training and community engagement. Our program empowers Fellows to become educators and advocates who promote social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. We provide comprehensive organic food system education without tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all. Throughout the six-month experiential, residential study at our campus, participants will engage in diverse agricultural practices, lead innovative health education sessions, and foster school and community gardens. Fellows also play a crucial role in promoting food literacy, supporting farmers markets, and developing vital distribution channels for healthy food access. Following their immersive training, each Fellow embarks on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills in real-world settings. Applications are accepted until March for experiences running from May to October, inviting passionate individuals to join us in reshaping the future of food.
