About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Towner, ND, invites passionate individuals to join us in transforming the food system into one that is equitable, sustainable, and community-focused. Our fellowship offers a unique, hands-on training experience where selected fellows receive an immersive six-month program at our farm, gaining vital knowledge in organic food production and community engagement. Participants learn to cultivate diverse crops, establish school and community gardens, and facilitate educational initiatives that deepen food and ecological literacy, all while supporting local farmers' markets and increasing access to healthy food. By partnering with nonprofit organizations during their Community Action Year, fellows can directly impact their local food systems. We believe in making education accessible, which is why we do not charge tuition. Join us in our mission to advocate for a just food system that benefits everyone in our community.
