About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Valley City, ND, is dedicated to fostering a new generation of leaders committed to a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our fellowship provides in-depth organic food system education and empowers participants to become advocates for sustainable agriculture. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our program. Over six months, selected fellows immerse themselves in hands-on training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they grow diverse crops, implement innovative educational initiatives, and support local food access efforts. After this experiential learning period, fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios. We invite aspiring change-makers to join us and contribute to a healthier, more equitable food system in their communities.
