The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Walhalla, ND, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. This invaluable program equips Fellows with the skills to advocate for equitable and eco-friendly food systems through hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Participants engage in a six-month immersive training that focuses on organic food production, community food initiatives, and educational outreach, enabling them to implement projects like community gardens, farmers markets, and food literacy programs. By fostering collaboration with regional non-profits, our Fellows work to enhance access to healthy foods and support community health initiatives. We strive to make our Fellowship accessible, with no tuition fees, ensuring a diverse group of advocates can emerge to lead positive change in their communities. Applications are open until March, with the Fellowship running from May to October, offering a practical opportunity to transform local food systems and empower communities.
