The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Wishek, ND, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and free 12-month program designed with their needs in mind. Participants can engage in six informative e-booklets tailored to help them understand diabetes management at their own pace, as well as receive a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and community resources available in both English and Spanish. Those who choose to provide their phone numbers are invited to partake in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can connect with American Diabetes Association professionals, ask pressing questions about diabetes and heart health, and access helpful giveaways. Our goal is to empower individuals on their diabetes journey and enhance their health through education and community engagement.
