Located in Alliance, Nebraska, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, breast-feeding promotion, and vital referrals for health care. We understand the urgent needs of families, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why we have adapted our services to continue offering healthy food assistance without the need for in-person visits. Even temporary changes in income may still qualify families for our support, ensuring access to the resources necessary for wellness and growth.
