Nebraska WIC, located in Atkinson, NE, is dedicated to supporting the health of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to five years old through the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits and ensure access to essential nutrition. We offer a range of services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and referrals for healthcare services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to assist families in obtaining the healthy foods they need without requiring in-person visits, making it easier for families facing temporary changes in income to benefit from our program.
