The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Auburn, NE, is dedicated to empowering individuals to champion a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and resilient. Our fellowship provides comprehensive training in organic food systems, allowing selected participants to engage deeply with hands-on learning experiences at our Allegheny Farm Campus. During this six-month program, Fellows not only gain vital knowledge but also contribute to important community initiatives, such as growing and distributing a diverse range of crops, implementing educational outreach in innovative health care, and supporting local food access through farmers markets and community gardens. Designed to ensure accessibility, we do not charge tuition, making it possible for passionate advocates from all backgrounds to join our mission. After their intensive training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills alongside regional non-profits to foster food and ecological literacy in schools and support community food initiatives. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply by March for the program starting in May, where they will take part in transformative experiences that benefit both themselves and their communities.
