Nebraska WIC, serving the Beatrice community, is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program offers essential nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and resources to promote and support breastfeeding. We also provide referrals for healthcare services to ensure families receive comprehensive care. During the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nebraska WIC continues to deliver vital food assistance without requiring in-person visits, making it easier for families to navigate changes in their circumstances. We believe that every family deserves access to healthy food, no matter their financial situation, and we remain committed to serving our community with compassion and urgency.
