The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bellevue, NE, is dedicated to empowering individuals who are passionate about advocating for a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a tuition-free program, we offer comprehensive organic food system education to selected Fellows, equipping them with the skills to teach and lead initiatives that promote community resilience. Participants engage in hands-on training over six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they grow diversified crops and support projects like community gardens, farmers markets, and educational programs that enhance food and ecological literacy. After their immersive experience, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to extend their impact throughout the region, ensuring greater access to healthy and sustainable food options.
