Nebraska WIC, located in Bennington, NE, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years. Our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program offers essential services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for healthcare. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure families receive the nutritious food they need without the requirement for in-person visits. We believe that even temporary changes in income should not hinder families from accessing vital resources, and we are committed to supporting our community's health and nutrition needs.
